Ali met her husband, Kevin Sattler, at San Diego
State. She notes they are quite happy, with their family
consisting of the couple and their cat. Keven is
in sales but not in the produce industry. When Ali
started in the produce industry she was already married
and using Sattler as her last name, and she consciously
continued that in her new career. “I wanted
to succeed on my own merit and do it my own way. I
do surprise people occasionally when I tell them I’m
Todd Linsky’s daughter.”
Reuniting with her past, Ali the buyer still loves
being Ali the grocery shopper. She shops at several
different retail operations within the Bristol Farms
group to spread her love and dollars around. “I don’t
want any store to think I have a favorite,” she joked.
She admits to shopping a lot. “My love language is
cooking and feeding people. I love grocery shopping
and I love cooking.”
Asked for a favorite dish, she said: “It has to be one
of my sheet pan meals. I have a really good one with
chicken, figs, garlic and onion…and then topped with
arugula.”

It’s not only the guests she serves that makes her
job special, but also the people she works with. She
says the Bristol/Lazy Acres produce team “is a fantastic
group. Honestly, everyone on the team is doing
a great job.”
Ali is supported by the retailer’s desire to pay
growers what they need to provide the extraordinary
produce that Bristol Farms and Lazy Acres deliver
to their customers. “We do not fight over nickels and
dimes; farmers deserve a fair price for their amazing
efforts.”
Given the opportunity, Ali also sang high praises
about the other members of her immediate family.
She is not the only Linsky that has followed her
father’s path as her brother Harrison Linsky works
for The Oppenheimer Group. She occasionally buys
from her brother, adding that both siblings cleared
the relationship with their respective companies to
safeguard against any undue favoritism.
She also noted that her mother, Jeannene, is quite
the fighter as she has battled through cancer with
a fantastic attitude. “My mom is a saint; no one deserves
her.”
