Dante G. Andrighetto Sales Person/Logistics Manager Mt. Tam Fresh, Inc. San Rafael, CA Background: I was born in San Mateo, CA, and raised in Redwood City. Growing up I began working summers at Shasta Produce in the South San Francisco Produce Terminal when I was a teenager. After graduating high school, I began working at Shas- ta Produce full time unloading trucks and putting up orders while going to school dur- ing the day. I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in business and kept pursuing my produce career at Shasta for 10 years until I left for Mt. Tam Fresh. My passion for produce comes from my family starting with my grandfather Guido Andrighetto and father Steve Andrighetto. Both taught me almost everything I know about produce and instill a passion for the industry into me. FPFC Connection: My FPFC connections come from Mt. Tam Fresh when we join the FPFC a little over a year ago. Marvin Quebec from Quebec Distributing convinced us to join. So far, the guys at Mt. Tam have enjoyed the FPFC produce show in Anaheim as well as the luncheons in Northern California. I applied for the program because I am always excited to learn more about the industry. Growing up in the terminal markets your view of the produce industry becomes very market centered. I want to learn more about other branches of the industry and how I can help myself and Mt. Tam Fresh become a better source of knowledge for our customers. Fun Fact: Outside of the produce industry I have many hobbies including sports, fitness and helping out on the family farm.
