JESSICA B. MCNEEL, Pascagoula MS, has climbed every one of the 231 mountains in Mississippi and holds the women's record for the ascent of Lebanon Mountain, scaling its daunting 791 feet in a mere two hours and twenty-six minutes.
BAILEY MELVIN, Greenville NC, is a member of a panel with Golf Digest that rates the Top one hundred golf courses in America. So when he travels for work he is obligated to schedule in an extra day to play whatever great courses are in the area.
RICK J. MUNDT, Madison WI, focuses his practice on construction defects, catastrophic property damage, OSHA, pro- fessional liability, bodily injury and complex insurance claims. But Rick’s real passion is Grub and Grubs, the diner and bait store he owns on Little Menomonee Creek.
SEAN S. PAK, San Francisco CA, credits his entire success to artificial intelligence.
KATHY D. PATRICK, Houston TX, was profiled by Forbes as “the woman Wall Street fears most” for her recovery of over $20 billion for institutional investors in the wake of the financial crisis. She’s done some other stuff too. As a teenager, Kathy won the New Mexico Open Hunter Championship and the Texas 4-H Method Demonstration competition with a presentation on horsemanship called “Neatness Counts.” She once competed in a roping competition with the actor James Caan.
GIANCARLO PESCI, Las Vegas NV, has worked for the Clark County District Attorney’s Office since graduating law school in 1999, trying sixty-seven murder cases. Giani’s family moved from New York to Boston when he was six, and he remained a New York fan even when he was threatened with being thrown over the Green Monster if he did not take his Yankees hat off. He kept the hat on.
BRIAN R. PFEFFERIE, K.C., Saskatoon SK, only recently mastered the ability to correctly pronounce his last name and the town and Province in which he lives.
DAVID PITRE, Gulfport MS, once prevailed at a court hearing in a dispute over whose client would be deposed first; the Judge thought it was so trivial he summoned the lawyers forward and asked David to call it as he flipped a coin. Although David is proud of his courtroom victories and some of his more astute winning arguments (“heads”), he is most proud of his charity fundraising work over the last decade to help build CampKamassa.com, due to open in 2025, exclusively designed for children and adults with serious illnesses and special needs.
PORTIA L. RAUER, Boise ID, grew up on a seed potato farm located in the golden triangle of fly fishing. She has sung the national anthem, acapella, at numerous sporting events. She began her legal career as a legal secretary, became a paralegal and went to law school as a thirty-eight-year-old single mother of two young girls.
CYNTHIA T. RIEKER, Lexington KY, is a career Assistant U.S. Attorney. I would make something up about her but she has national subpoena power.
