1ST ANNUAL ARIZONA GOLF TOURNAMENT Friday, November 10, 2023 Scottsdale, AZ The Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s inaugural Arizona Golf Tournament was held on Friday, November 10th at the Phoenician Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. Golfers enjoyed a beautiful day of golf, featuring attendees from Sprout’s, Target, Buyers Edge, Sysco, and Raley’s. In the winners’ circle, Kings River Packing claimed 3rd place, Raley’s and Dailyfresh Distributing secured 2nd, while Avocados From Mexico, Sprout’s, and Sonora Farms took 1st. Special mention goes to the most patriotic foursome winners—Brett Johnson and Susan Jones-Ng of Limoneira, Michael Schutt of Bay Area Herbs and Matt Beltran of Umina Bros. 1st Place Winners, Gus Orozoco of Avocados From Mexico, Mike Nunez of Sonora Farms, Erick Coronado of Avocados From Mexico and Daniel Spivey of Sprout’s. 2nd Place Winners, Corey Calixtro of Calixtro Distributing, Ricky Calixtro of Dailyfresh Distributing; FPFC Chair Michael Schutt of Bay Area Herbs, Richard Calixtro of Calixtro Distributing and Kip Martin of Raley’s. 3rd Place Winners, Joel Yeary, Prescott Leyba, Bobby Hines, and Jess Silva of Kings River Packing. 18
