FPFC ‘THE HEIST’ Saturday, February 4, 2023 Langham, Pasadena, CA An intense game of Texas Hold ‘Em with Eddie Martinez and Natalia Merienne of Avocado Queen, Neil Merritt of Insights with Merit, Brett Johnson of Limoneria and Oscar Guzman of Progressive Produce. The Fresh Produce & Floral Council held The Heist, Casino Night on Saturday February 4, 2023 at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, California. The evening was attended by retail attendees from Albertsons, Gro- cery Outlet, Gaju Markets, Ralphs, Smart & Final, Stater Bros. Markets and more! The evening began with a VIP reception for the FPFC Board of Directors, sponsors, planning committee and retailers attending the event. The general reception hosted a 360-degree photo booth and specialty drinks. The traditional programming of this evening is to highlight the incoming FPFC Board of Directors and thank those who are retiring from the board for their service. This year, the Dinner Dance committee decided to do something different and incorporate the FPFC’s heritage, by honoring the Past Chairs of the FPFC “Ocean’s 58”. The next Fresh Produce & Floral Council event will be a Membership Luncheon which will host a special graduation for the 2022 FPFC Apprentice Class.
