advocates’ excellent work and a sit-down dinner. Attendees not only enjoyed great conversation, but were privileged to hear from Justice Gary Traynor, who provided unique insights into appellate advocacy from the perspective of a Justice of the Su- preme Court of Delaware.
Based upon the overwhelmingly positive feedback from all participants, the College is in discussions with the Supreme Court about hosting the program again soon. The Delaware State Committee is sincerely grateful to Chief Justice Seitz for his vision and partnership, and to the other members of the bench (notably Judicial Fellows Craig Karsnitz and Fer- ris Wharton) whose participation made the event particularly memorable for the advocates. In addition, the State Commit- tee is grateful to Fellows Kathy Jennings, the Attorney General of Delaware, and Kevin O’Connell, Chief Defender, Office of Defense Services, for their partnership in this program. And fi- nally, thank you to Past President Bart Dalton and to Fellows Adam Balick, Ken Nachbar, and Greg Varallo for volunteer- ing their time to help train the next generation of advocates.
