PLEASE SEND CONTRI IT’S APRIL 20 AS I WRITE THIS. RALPH YARL, 16, IS RE- COVERING FROM TWO BULLET WOUNDS, ONE TO THE HEAD. PAYTON WASHINGTON, 18, IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION. KAYLIN GILLIS, 20, IS DEAD. KINSLEY WHITE, 6 – YES – 6, IS WOUND- ED IN THE FACE, HER FATHER IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION. BUTIONS OR SUGGESTIONS TO ACTLJOURNAL@GMAIL.COM Why? Ralph was simply trying to pick up his younger brothers from a party at 1100 NE 115th Terrace, but he mistakenly went to 1100 NE 115th Street, about a block away. He rang the doorbell. And the homeowner answered by opening fire. Kaylin and her friends were lost. They had turned into the wrong driveway and, realizing it was wrong, started to back out. Too late. The homeowner opened fire. Payton and three other members of her cheerleading squad were meeting to carpool in a parking lot. One of them got out to get into her own car, but she mistook another car for hers. She quickly left and got back in the first car with her friends, but the car-owner followed her and, you guessed it, opened fire. Kinsley? Kinsley was playing basketball in her own back yard. The ball rolled into her neighbor’s yard. The nerve. Of course the neighbor opened fire. Oh, and then there is the Sweet-16 party in Dadesville where gunfire killed four and wounded fifteen other teen- agers. They have just identified the shooters as sixteen and seventeen year-old brothers.
