Born in Cuba, Judge Gonzalez immigrated to the United States in 1969. He was a Fulbright Scholar, an Assistant District Attorney and Assistant United States Attorney, where he served as Chief of the Narcotics Unit. Judge Gonzalez, who became a Fellow in 2019, was a partner at Dechert LLP prior to his appointment to the federal bench. LINDSAY C. JENKINS served as an assistant United States Attorney for fifteen years, where she was Chief of the Criminal Division, before taking her seat on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on February 14, 2023. Judge Jenkins has been honored for her work by the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, the Chicago Crime Commission and the Chicago Police Department. She became a Fellow of the College in 2021, in her hometown City of Chicago, and is a member of both her State Committee and the Mentoring Committee.
