FELLOWS TO THE BENCH
SHANE G. PARKER, KC, was appointed a Justice of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta in Calgary in April, 2024. Previously, Justice Parker was a Senior Prosecutor at the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service in Cal- gary. Justice Parker founded the Alberta Prosecution Service’s wiretap training course and was a contribut- ing author to the criminal law textbook, “From Crime to Punishment.” Inducted into the College in 2018, Justice Parker is a member of the Special Problems in the Administration of Justice Committee (Canada).
BERNARD LAROCQUE, of Montréal, was appointed a Judge of the Superior Court of Quebec for the Dis- trict of Montréal in March, 2024. Justice Larocque was inducted into the College in 2020 and previously served as the Vice Chair of the Online Advisory Committee. Prior to his appointment, Justice Larocque specialized in civil liability and civil procedure. He actively engages in pro bono matters, serving as Chair of the Board of Directors of Justice Pro Bono since 2020.
